Types of Lighting

  1. Accent Lighting: Lighting used for adding more focus to a specific object in the room, usually 4 to 5 times more intense than ambient lighting.
  2. Ambient Lighting: Lighting simply used for illuminating an entire space.
  3. Task Lighting: Lighting that illuminates a particular spot for task-performing.
  4. Sconce: This is an ornamental light that attaches to the wall.
  5. LED Light: LED stands for Light emitting diode. This type of light is extremely efficient and long lasting.
  6. Pendant Light: These are versatile lights that can be used for both task and general lighting purposes.  Equipped with shades to reduce glare, they are suspended from the ceiling.
